Hi Karmacat - who do you do mystery shopping with and how would i start doing it please?
Debs
xJust got £36.50 from mystery shopping - a lot more should be to come, as I did four last week and have done seven this week, with two more to do.
My Pigsback account also tells me that I have £11 in there, but its not true - looking at the rewards section, to get a £10 voucher, you have to have 1150 points, which is a pain. I hope to reach it this month, anyway.
I'm chugging away at lightspeed and yougov (latter takes a long time, but is worth it) and am going back to doing a few other surveys too, especially since ciao now do quite high value ones, as well as the ridiculous 10p ones.
Matched betting - there is a faint possibility I'll do one this week, with the Wimbledon offers coming up, but it will need a lot of research if I do, and I'm not sure I can hack it.
There's also a comping challenge I still haven't got round to.... *so* inconvenient that I have to sleep sometimes!0 -

Hi everyone! 11 pages already and only the 2nd! Thanks Ciara for taking the reins this month - and for adding me to the list!
Just back from holiday so haven't got back into this yet but will aim for £15 a day. Just been through my emails to discover a book has sold on Amazon (in spite of me setting myself to be on holiday! - thankfully sold Monday so will only be a day late posting!) - but I am getting over £35! Is a heavy hardback so will cost a bit to post but hopefully the profit should more or less cover my first 2 days and get me off to a solid start. Will update sig when have sorted it out.0 -

Hi there, if you google cybershop gfk you should find them - I confess, I'm completely confused by the number of similar websites they have, which is why I can't just *give* you an addy, sorry. A lot of them are tiny, for phone calls, but they add up - I've just nabbed four more. When you first do one, it takes forever (it does me, anyway) but when you do a dozen jobs that all have the same questionnaire, you can rattle it off no problems.
Good luck with it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Better get my bum in gear
Welcome to all challenge newbies
If you do a search for the previous £10 a day challenges there’s LOADS of great info on how people make the extra cash - Also Martin’s guide on the main site at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/protect/make-money
(Thanks Karmacat & Frugalpam) has lots of tips - and the Up Your Income board has loads of ideas too
£10 a day REALLY is achievable but quite a few people start off with a £5 per day aim, others more, it just depends on your circumstances.
People count their extra earnings in different ways too - some only count cash available to pay off various things, others count vouchers, money saved etc - it’s up to you!
Challengers also count their earnings in different ways too, some count as they do clicks, earns points etc, others only count dosh when it hits their bank - again it’s up to you.
Off the top of my head, ways to make extra cash:
*Ebay
*Amazon
*Play.com - you can now sell on the site in the same way as on Amazon
*Green metropolis - Site for selling only books
*Cashback sites - Quidco, Freefivers, Pigsback etc
*Survey Sites - Lightspeed etc, sign up to these via cashback sites to get maximum dosh
*Free B!ngo - on Thursdays at g a l a and also available on some sign up to get a deposit sites, or where you can sign up for more cashback than you have to deposit & play through so you're guaranteed a profit. Not sure which sign up ones are still available though, don't use your own money!
*Writers Share - Don’t know much about it, more info on the Up Your Income Board
*Slice the Pie - Get paid to listen to (sometimes awful) new music and give your opinion
*Matched Betting - ONLY WHEN YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU’RE DOING!
*Car Booting
*Overtime at Work - That you wouldn’t normally have done if not for the challenge/this site
*Mystery Shopping
And depending on what you do/where you live there’s plenty more opportunity for getting a wee bit extra!
Hope that’s of some help, really should get to bed now!
Wrote that the other night - Page 7 of the thread.
