I recently did my motorbike theory test and found it very easy, but I have been driving for 8 years so its only 8 years since I last had to do a theory test.
You could try e-bay but when I had a look everyone was just selling at retail price.
I did get a copy of the highway code from waterstones. It was about 3 times thicker than when I last looked at on. It must start to get hard to think up new rules.
But good luck with your theory test.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
Passed mine yesterday for the second time, last time was in 2003. I used the same books as last time to swat up so not sure about recommending the latest resources. One thing I can recommend though for sure is 2pass.co.uk and also the theory test pages below which unlike the DSA page gives you new questions

Regarding Hazard there is a CD mentioned (see 2pass forum) but I didn't use anything, nor did I last time round, I think common sense should see you through. If you are having lessons also, you will be well equipped to spot the hazards. Do the hazard pre-test when sitting your theory because it is really useful in letting you know what you need to do.
I got 47/50 & 60/75 respectivelly. Good luck and enjoy the journey to driving independence

Try charity shops for test books. they always have a ton!
p.s listed my theory books on amazon this morning and they are priced the cheapest so you could also try there

WD hm71 for doing both 1st time.
Forgot about them on the pc, they are brill and recommend as I used that to simply because it had some clips on hazard perception to that I could try out, so I at least got the jist of that area of the test before I went for the theory.
I heard they have something like that for the practical to but I've only seen them in Woolies so far for £20, so off to see if they have anything like that I could rent from library instead.O0 -
thanks, it was my son who passed first time- same disc in whsmiths is £10, so if you can get to wilkinsoms or try wilkos online it could well be worth the cash.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."
