Defragging in W10
Hi all, I've got an ssd 128gb and a normal hdd 1tb in my laptop. As I understand it W10 auto defrags once a week. However I always thought that an ssd should never be defragged. Is that true? My researches tells me to let windows do its thing but now I'm in doubt.

Firefox, Chrome start calling HTTP connections insecure
https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2017/01/firefox-chrome-start-calling-http-connections-insecure/ Password forms delivered over HTTP will get flagged as insecure. Does this mean that all CMS websites (eg Wordpress) now need to be on secure servers?

I have Windows 8.1 on my computer and currently whenever I connect to the Internet, the svchost.exe process sticks at 25%. Ethernet cable changing websites?
I have just plugged an ethernet cable from my router to my desktop PC as I am having issues loading pages so thought I would just check if it is the wireless connection that is the problem. Now I have done this, bbc.co.uk reverts to bbc.com and facebook reverted to some foreign home page! Any idea why this would happen?

I am guessing there must be something left on my laptop after the items…

I've done a quick search and can only find sites talking about removal of such software! My sole purpose for this is to give me an audible signal when a banking site on a background tab gives the one minute logout warning.
