Not sure if this is the right place but I was wondering what other people spend on groceries. Having recently retired to the UK and having time I started looking carefully at budgets. We, couple, retired, grow some veg. but not a lot, spend £240 a month. So what do you spend?

Last year women & home ran open evenings before christmas at spacenk. The cost was £10 - i think- and, if you purchased anything the £10 cost was taken off the item. It was a good night. Does anyone know if they are doing one this year.
