Savings & Standing Order
If one wanted to put, say £7,000 into a savings account and then set up a monthly standing order from said account, emptying it at the pace of £60 / Month for 17 months and then withdraw the remaining £5980 and close the account in the 18th month, what would be the best account to have?

Investment/ Savings Advice please
I'd really appreciate a bit of advice. My husband and I have about 6300 to invest. It is viewed as long term savings, we may have additional capital to add to it at some point. Santander Security
I do most of my Santander Banking on line, but recently had to call them on the phone. I used the Telephone Banking Number (TBN) that is printed on my statement and the associated password which was rejected twice. Peer-to-peer sites - can I invest directly?
This is about investing directly in the equity of the companies running the sites (i.e. funding circle, zopla etc). The question is - can I do it? These look to have a great future, I think they must be worth a punt. I can't seem to find any that are quoted, anyone any ideas?

At the risk of upsetting any As/FAs/IFAs on this board this was in the ST http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/business/money/investments/article1292712.ece Here's a snippet: .....the FCA said it had visited firms which, though calling themselves IFAs, had a set list of products.
