Short time savings account
I have £20k to put into a savings account while I buy a house, I guess the money will only be in the account for 3 months max. Then I would need to withdraw to put down as deposit on house, but would like to make a little in the meantime. Could anyone give me advice as to which account would be best suited. Thansk

I thought I had found a broker that would accept the transfer in of US Share certficates in iWeb. But since I have opened the account they have now told me that they wont accept US share certificates despite their website still suggesting otherwise. Does anyone know of a service that can transfer in my certificate?

Versatile Investment Plan and Bond with Standard Life
I have a monthly endowment with SL £50 per mth. Its a versatile investment plan. Started May 2001 - matures May 2016. Spread of investment monthly - 40% Managed Fund / 20% International Fund / 10% European Fund / 30% With Profits Fund, I also have a £5k Bond held since May 2001 .
