If you are self employed and have forgotten to pay some of your NI contributions do they let you know (as it will affect your pension) or do they just say hard luck when it comes to your retirement. TIA :)

How do I work out how much is in my pension pot?
I get an estimate every year from work that tells me how much I can expect annually when I retire, but to use some of the pension calculators I need to know how much is in my pot. Any ideas where I get that information? thanks

Can small monthly pension be commuted to cash sum?
