Holiday discounted after booking
In July 2009 I booked a two week holiday for three people, with Portland Holidays for March 2010. They had advertised and mailed me to 'book early and receive the best discount and deals'. I received a discount of £60 per person. In September 2009, Portland offered £120 discount pp on the same holiday! I wrote to the CEO…

Do I need a passport?
For once and for all, if I am traveling from the US to St. Lucia for my honeymoon, do I need a passport or not? I have heard conflicting stories. Some say you have to have a passport, some say a certified birth certificate, photo ID, and a return ticket is sufficient. Which is it?

Best Vacation Spot in Colorado?
We are planning an impromptu vacation for either the first or second week in August. Our son will be having cataract surgery in July, and since he will now be able to "see" better than before, my husband wanted to take him someplace "majestic." This will be our first family trip to Colorado...with soooo many possibilities,…

I've been scanning the international flight checkers for the past month looking for a return flight only to LA in the New year (no fixed date). Did you know....
that on the Easyjet website, if you book your holiday in a block booking say 9 people it is approximately £4 per person more expensive then if you were to do it say 1 adult and 1 child...?. The Great 'Hotel staff, tell us how to get upgraded' Hunt
There's nothing sweeter than bagging a free upgrade to a bigger, better, more expensive hotel room. So we'd like any MoneySavers who work or have worked at hotels to dish the dirt on their upgrade policies. What's the best time to arrive, is it worth mentioning your anniversary/birthday, dressing up posh or just asking…
