Broken laptop - who pays?
My partner is doing a PGCE at a secondary school. While he was teaching, a technician who works there knocked over his brand new Macbook Pro and cracked the screen. The salary for a PGCE isn’t exactly large, and surely the school should have an insurance policy in place for events such as this? Who pays for the repairs?
