Friends ...
A bit of a ramble ... I've been ill for a few years, nearly housebound but not quite and any activity leaves me cream-crackered for days. Because of this I've lost quite a few, if not all, of the friends I had. My (so-called) best friend heard I was ill and didn't return my emails/calls/texts for a year - yes, a year! I…

Conflict over child contact - how to source mediation?
The parents just cannot see eye to eye on anything, and contact is - difficult, at best. How do couples get mediation going? Is it something they have to ask someone to arrange - GP, HV etc? Or are there specialist mediation people then can find themselves? And if one of the parents approaches the mediation service, what…

Supermarket cashier chit chat
Do you enjoy a little chat or would you rather be left to get on with your packing? Was happily packing away all my…

Thank goodness I didn't at the price of it. The thing is I have just looked up NHS dental…
