Checking Student Loan Balance?
Is there any easy way to check your live student loan balance? I have somewhere in the region of £4000 left, maybe less. Is there a way to know the exact amount? I don't have a login to the student loans website - is the latest balance listed there?

What is PAF?
I took out finance on a car back in 2013. The repayment interest (APR) was 14.1% (much higher than I was told it would be when I took it out), but on the yearly overview statement that I received after the first year, it shows PAF: 7%. I'm just wondering if anybody would know what this PAF stands for, and what it is. I…

Paying back too much student loan - who to blame?
I've just realised, after doing some calculations, that i've been paying back my student loan as though i started university pre-2012, rather than post-2012. As such, this amounts (at the moment) to more than £50 a month too much. Over the years - it seems i may have paid back around £1,000 more than necessary. I've spoken…

pcp loan help
In May 2015 I bought a fiat 500 on finance as my car broke and I wanted something nice for work. I put down a £300 deposit and agreed to pay £134.54 a month. In May I still had £5803.42 to pay off but I'm really beginning to hate the car and I would like to get a new one shortly. However I do not have the settlement fee to…

Whoops! Made a rookie error signing my loan form....
Accidentally dated the line where the loan authoriser is supposed to write the date. That's what I get for rushing to complete it in time for last post pickup on saturday. I crossed the date out with a single line and initialled it, then signed it and dated it (in the correct spot) and posted it off. Sooooo, reckon they…

PCP deal interest rates
Has a car salesman ever been able to tell you how the monthly payment on your shiny new car is calculated? I’d be willing to be he hasn’t; all they do is bash some numbers into a laptop, and out pops the finance quote. Certainly this has been my experience when looking to change my and my daughters cars recently. We looked…

Paying off Ford credit immediately - cost?
Hi, I'm keen to buy a nearly new Ford (Focus ST estate) from our local dealer. I've struggled to get much movement on price but they did say they'd knock off £500 for taking a credit agreement (and suggested I could pay it off after the first month). They've sent a quote for this, it is with "Ford Acquire". I'm trying to…

Ridiculous Loan Charges
Dear MSE Forums; Looking for some advice please. I recently took out a Loan with Natwest for a sum of £13,500 at 15.9% Apr (best APR, that I could personally receive). This was on 16th of July 2018. Documentation is on its way and they only need my signature, no supporting documentation as this loan will top up an existing Tesco loan that has a year left to run.
