CASH ISA & FCSC Protection
Hi, does anyone have any advice on what to do if your CASH ISA total in one institution was to approach the £85K FCSC protection limit? Can you transfer out part of the balance to a new provider/product for the new tax year so you don't lose the use of your yearly allowance? Any advice on how to manage CASH ISAs to avoid…

Little advice on ISA's for a newbie
Hi all, I'm new to savings and ISA's, so go easy on me. I'm sure these questions will have been asked but I can't find anything :( 1. You can put in £20,000 each (Tax free) We are looking to both put the maximum £20,000 into an ISA right away. And leave it there. Obviously the interest we then earn will take this above the…

Non Flexible ISAs
I need some ISA advice please!! I have an ISA with Kent Reliance which is not a flexible ISA. I accidentally overpaid into my ISA account this year and the next day withdrew the difference. Since then Kent Reliance has bounced back my initial overpayment and rejected it as it was over the 20,000 limit. As a result the…

LISA advice
I'm approaching 40 & thinking of LISA's before it's too late to open then. I'm a homeowner Have a pension Have shares So this would just be additional retirement savings. I'm quite liking the idea of Moneybox's stock/share LISA - mainly due to the 'round up' - I don't think I'd miss that. Would it be worth me, the next…

Understanding Cash ISA
I have rejoined because I kept losing and forgetting my log in details. This is my first new post since rejoining as Retired Saver. I can't quite understand exactly where I stand with the ISA rules. Analyse my ISA portfolio please?
Hi all - I've been repositioning my ISA based on 3 existing holdings which I will continue to buy monthly, and a projected further 6 holdings submitted for dealing tomorrow. I've gone for a mix of passive and active, equities and bonds, but I'm wondering though if I'm doubling up on some exposures, and could ditch some for…

For those that had a DotCommunity ISA
By sheer co-incedence, I stumbled across an article from 2017 today which reports that 3 Directors of the now defunct DotCommunity CU have been banned for 6 years from creating or running a company. Karma :) :) https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/15240378.bosses-of-credit-union-banned-after-company-owed-more-than-7m/

LISA transfer fees
It is a shame you get charged to transfer out. I have been charged £55 to move from HL to Skipton and did not factor this in. It is also annoying how HL don't tell give you a statement to show the fee being taken i.e. no record. Is this a standard thing across other banks/building societies and with All ISA's?
