NS&I Direct ISA - Withdrawing Question
I plan to withdraw some cash from our Direct ISAs to knock my mortgage on the head. I have a very silly question, but have not been able to find any answers on their website: If I withdraw the cash, does it come to me as a cheque or is it electronically transfered into a nominated account. Its just that I will be not…

Legal & General ISA
I invested £3,000 in a fixed interest Lump Sum ISA, 6 years ago. I have just received my latest statement which says I have accumulated £808.84 in interest. Would it be better to withdraw it now and move it to my mini-cash ISA or some other savings scheme. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Impending SM Crash - Is it possible to protect your ISA
The FTSE has seen substantial growth over the last 4 years. The last week has been fairly volatile and I am expecting things to get worse. All the news about 'sub-prime' mortgage woes would appear to have a lot further to run. I can't help but feel that we are due a rather large (and perhaps prolonged) market correction.…

Hey all, I have a Halifax ISA Saver Direct with £9300 in it with a current interest rate of 5.75%. I've been looking at the options of where to change it to, to get a better interest rate. From what I gather, an Abbey Direct ISA at 6.25% would seem to be the best - is this correct? Also, how would I go about it - just fill…

Transfer previous years ISA (but not to current year ISA)
Hi, Just wondered if anyone would know the answer to this. I have a 06/07 mini cash ISA with YBS. I also have a 07/08 (current year) ISA with Barclays (the tax beater one).
