Hi there I am sure this has been asked before, but.... We are emigrating at the end of the year. I have an ISA with the Portman. As I will no longer be permanently resident, would I have to close this? Thanks
ISA Interest calculation q.
Hi, Beginner at all this investing business. I was wondering how the interest on an ISA is calculated. The way that makes sense to me is for example if you have a ISA with a fixed rate of 5%, the interest is 5/12 on the balance each month and the total gets paid at the end of the tax year as as lump sum. Tried to transfer my cash ISA to the 5.2 account towards the end of March - my existing provider sorted their end promptly - and yet 6 or so weeks later I am STILL waiting for the funds to…
ISA Transfer Request Form Halifax to AL
Hi there, I have received a copy of a transfer request form to move my existing ISA fund from Halifax to AL. Do I send the transfer form to my local Halifax branch or send it off to a specific department? Thanks in adavance. PS the AL ISA is at the rate before the drop.
