I got a set of DVDs for my birthday but they are Region 1. Can I pick up a cheap DVD player anywhere that will play region 1 or that I can unlock? I have tried making my current DVD player (recorder) region free but it still wont accept the disks.

Coloured wax for new wood doors
I'm just about to move, and our new house has had some of their 250 year old doors dipped and stripped down, but there are also new doors too.
