question about optician and hospital referral (nhs)
I was wondering how it works when your optician wants to refer you to the eye hospital. Does the optician write to your GP first, and the GP then sends a referral letter on to the eye hospital? (and presumably it will then come out of the GP's budget?) Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this? Thanks
