GB Energy Different Prices
Hi so I am a GB Energy customer who was bought by co-op. Went online to see their new offer's to fix for another year (am happy with them so not fussed about moving to somewhere a teensy bit cheaper but unknown to me) and saw that the tarrif for the GB Lite Online Sept 2018 had changed from what i was looking at a week ago…
Faulty prepayment meter they want me to pay estimated usage
Long story short. My prepayment meter stopped requiring top ups for 18months. I informed my supplier after 3 months they arranged to fix it but didnt and informed me it had been accidentaly switched to freevend (electricity without needing top ups) During the 18 months i have had attempted meter readings and been told its…
NPower £6000 Bill
Hi. My 95 year old grandmother received a bill £6000 from NPower back in May this year. After numerous telephone conversations and emails that no one ever responds to we have established this is due to a faulty meter. We are now in August the bills keep coming and the engineers come out to the sheltered housing scheme but…

OVO increasing interest rate on balance

Switch over delays
I am currently with Scottish Power for my Gas and was also previously with them for electricity. Switched online to NPOWER via USWITCH on April 23rd and had Electricity transferred over on 11th May. Did this to get fixed price tariffs till May 2018 (For both Gas and Electric). Its now August and NPOWER still haven't…
BG PAYG. Advice on switching
I know there`s advice on the site but I am still confused as to the best way to go about switching. I have had PAYG meter for over 20 years. Been with BG for several years. Stayed with them because you could top up at home on laptop. I don`t owe BG any money. The meter was put in when my kids were small because I was…
Scottish Gas, WHY!?
I am on Scottish Gas collective ending 3rd Oct 2017 and just got a bill with a credit balance of just under £70, which it seems they are refunding, then putting up my DD by just over £21 a month. Why refund the balance then increase the DD? I'm not all that bothered about the DD increase as I just get more cashback from my…

EverSmart Energy?
Looks like another new company offering cheap energy prices. Done a quote on their web site in comparison to current IRESA tariff looks to be incorrect? Says £462 saving per year on a £900 bill making it less than £500 in total???? Must be incorrect>
High British Gas bills
Over the last 3 months our British Gas bills have skyrocketed. Electricity is normal, but the Gas has increased loads. We live in a 3 bed detached with just myself and my wife, the only items in the house using the gas are; the fire in the lounge, the hob in the kitchen and the heating (hot water is electric). Our bills…
