I've just made the last payment on my cc, which was the last of my debt. From Oct 2006 until now I've paid off just under £10k, 14 days before my goal date of my 30th birthday. It's been a bluddy slog, a two job, 70-hour week, ebay frenzy, market shopping, invite refusing, brand ditching, hairdressing college, guestlist…

What makes the most financial sense?
Hello, I'm Sean and I'm new on here. I could really do with some objective opinions on my current situation, if that's ok. My wife and I have a mortgage with Northern Rock (bad luck eh). We can't swap mortgage suppliers (we've tried) as we have a lot of debt and I went self-employed a year ago - extremely bad timing. I…

Writing to creditors
Where do you stand with writing to creditors (loan/credit card) to ask to freeze interest if you also have a mortgage? Is it likely that you would get anywhere or would they not deem you to be in financial difficulty if paying a mortgage?

Where have the stickies gone?
The forum team have had several comments about too many stickies on the DFW boards - and that people were finding it difficult to navigate round with them taking up the first 8-9 posts... So I've unstickied some - they are still all on the board - just no longer stickied :) Sorry for any inconvenience :) Regards MrsT
