not sure if this is in the right place,but here goes. My son appears to have paid too much income tax for the year 2008-2009 His earnings for the year were £8,425 his income tax was £1,497. Does this look correct, any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Milage claim
I recently sent my milage claim in to be paid. My employer pays me 20p a mile so I sent a claim for the difference another 20p.
