Help! I don't know what to do? I did the free trial with Credit Expert a while back and was very impressed. I moved £1600 of my debt from my high…

Barclaycard & Legal Direct. Help needed!
Morning all, A couple of weeks ago, a firm called Legal Direct approached my wife with a proposal. They advised that at present they are processing claims against credit card companies. They advised there is a good chance that we did not sign T&C's with Barclaycard - therefore, the agreement is not valid. They said they…

Advice needed- credit report issues due to credit card
Hi, I've just looked at my credit report for the first time as I'm looking to buy a house this year. It describes me as 'fair' despite the fact I have no debt. It does however say that what is going against me is "You have several credit agreements (excluding mortgages), and the outstanding balance is high". I have a…

Tesco: how long to leave balance to gain points before clearing?
I've bought some new furniture today and paid on my Tesco card, with the full intention of getting the benefit of my Tesco points, but then also paying it off. Does anyone know how long I have to leave the amount on (about £400?) so that I don't get interest charges, but I also gain the advantage of clubcard points? Is it…

Why doesn't Experian Automaticaly Update?
I stupidly applied for a CC without checking my credit files, as I believed they were all OK. I got declined. I've now just checked, and experian hasn't picked up on my current or last address (3 months and 8 months repsectively), this may well be a big contributory factor into me not getting accepted. For the last 2…

Airmiles loyalty points versus credit card charges
I had to pay off the balance for a holiday today and thought that it would be a great way to rack up some more air miles if I paid using a loyalty credit card. I was slightly horrified when I went to pay to find that if I paid using any credit card then the charges came to £17.80. I decided to work out just what the…

Graduate credit cards equivalent
It seems like most banks don't offer graduate credit cards anymore, but still offer student credit cards. The equivalent to graduate credit cards seems to be a 'Classic' one (not Gold, Platinum, etc...). Out of curiosity, how come they aren't offered sub-prime cards/rates, like Aqua, Vanquis, and the like? :o

Halifax CC, is it poss to claim PPI after having made claim
Hi all Received a leaflet and a nicely worded * cough* letter from Halifax saying they may have mis-sold my PPI which I was paying at 87p/£100 on the balance which averaged £1200 a month roughly. I made a claim under a life event (my DD being born) in which they paid me £60 ish... I cancelled soon after that - a couple of…

Net+ card from neteller
Signed up for - or tried to sign up for - a Net+ card on this site's recommendation, to avoid paying Ryanair's exorbitant credit card charges. Alas, I have to report it's been a nightmare so far! 1.
