Are There Any 0% Offers For People Earning Under £10K?
Bumping this with a different title, just in case anyone knows of anything. Are there any 0% credit card offers (balance transfer at least, preferably purchases as well) available to someone on low income. My wife runs her own small business, which brings in around £3K a year at the moment ~ all 0% offers I've seen seem to…

I have switched banks to get a £100 bonus but the marks and spencers direct debit hasnt worked. I saw the direct debit attempted on the 3rd of this month, on the 5th it shows as a returned payment. Luckily I made a debit card payment to cover the minimum payment earlier last month. I rang them on the 4th before it showed…

I have a Barclay card with an intrest free period that's comming to an end. I still have some debt on it and I'd like to 'tart' it on to another card. Over Limit Charge
Has anyone else experienced the same problem as I just have with my 'Mint' account. Due to late payments, for which I have been billed £12 for each time, they reduced my credit limit to £400. Whilst this is not a problem, my balance at the time was £407, and they have now charged me another £12 for being over my limit.…

Hi I applied online for a NW Flexaccount / Visa Debit card. Today they sent me a letter offering me the account with an attached cash card. I plan on using the card overseas so this is no good to me. I want to take advantage of their fee free spending. I've had a current account with NatWest for about 14 years. I've also…

Can I find out who has cards registered at my address?
No idea which is the best board for this one. I keep getting account statements from Totesport, addressed to a man who doesn't live here. I bought the property in Jan 2006, and the name isn't that of the previous owner. I phoned Totesport for the second time today to complain. I said I didn't want the account associated…

Cashback cards vs. 0% on purchases
Is there a straightforward formula to work out whether it's better to have a cashback card that's paid off in full each month, or a "slow stooze" on a 0% purchases card on which only the minimum payment is met until the promotional rate expires? I bet this has been posted before but I couldn't find it...

Can i pay off my car finance with a 0% credit card?
Hey all. Have lived by this site for a while and need some advice on finance. I currently have car finance which is £2600. If I stick with my finance it will cost me over £3600 by September 2009 when it ends. I want to pay it off with a credit card that offers 0% for 12 months. (I recon I could pay it off by then) So I saw…

Morgan Stanley increased my fixed rate and I didn't notice!
I took out a credit card with Morgan Stanley last March at 5.9% APR fixed for the life of the transfer balance. Today I took a look at my statement and noticed that the amount of interest to be taken from my next transaction was rather high. I rung them to confirm the interest rate that I am paying and they told me that it…
