I am wondering how I go about finding a trusted charity. I hear all these horror stories about the such-and-such.org charity only gives 5% of your donation to the supposed beneficiaries of the charity. A friend recently had minor surgery and was given dressings to use at home. There were more than needed. Presumably hospitals do not take these back. Do animal charities such as the PDSA accept them?.
