Is anyone else finding that having to call an 0845 number so many times a month about your benefit is costing a fair bit? Claiming IS - do you have JCP interview?
Quick question that hopefully someone in the know can answer ... (Not me btw, I'm on Maternity!) If you submit a claim for IS (cannot work due to caring for disabled child and getting CA), do you have to attend an interview at the JCP? Or do they make an award based on the application form, with no attendance necessary?

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION* Cold weather payments
Board guides please don't merge this with the thread ongoing as I fear it may get lost amongst it all. The JCP computers do not register that you get CA for your child and parents are loosing out on CWP. For example I get CA and a carers premium on IS, I also get a disability premium on CTC but they say they don't know who…
