BCW group.... anyone heard of them/ dealt with them?

I am getting lots of calls / texts from them... I am guessing they are a debt collection company? I'm too scared to answer to them

BCW = Buchanan & Clark Wells

And yes, they are debt collectors/buyers.

If you are going BR soon, then ignore then completely.

No point talking to them since they won't listen, even if you tell them you are going BR.

Save that pleasure for when you can quote them your BR and OR details. :D

I'm doing what Fermi said, i get on average 4 or 5 calls a day from DCA's and until i'm actually BR I don't see any point in talking to them!

Also if you get a call from Apex credit management I'm pretty sure its the same company as BCW.

Thanks everyone.... the situation is kinda complicated. DF is going bankrupt on Wednesday, I can't at the moment because we don't have enough for 2 lots of fees (unless I use DFs credit card, but then he would have to explain about the 2 lots of fees, bad idea??)

The only debt I have is a loan of approx 9000 from around 3 years ago, I haven't made a payment in years, they don't have my recent address as I have moved around so much in the past few years... all they have is my mobile number. I do need to sort it, theres no way I can afford payments, I have let it get way out of hand and will owe thousands more in interest now.... i am sick of the phone calls though, I should change my phone number but that isn't going to solve anything esp when they catch up with me.... I don't have anything for them to take from me, I can't even save enough for BR fees so I'm just stuck really :(

When you say years ago, how long ago? When was the last time you made any payments or acknowledged the debt in writing?

If I were to go bankrupt what would I put on the forms for this.... I got the loan through intelligent finance, but do I put it down as BCW that I owe to.... I also don't know any of my account details and how much I owe so I'm guessing I would need to find all that information out somehow?

    Thanks
