The Wine Show 2018– Competition– Additional T&Cs

1) The prize comprises:

1. a four (4) night stay for two (2) people in a twin or double room at the prize provider’s choice of 4* hotel accommodation in Provence
2. Return economy flights from a London airport of the prize provider’s choice to the prize provider’s choice of Marseille, Nice or Montpellier airport.
3. a (1) car hire voucher (up to the value £300) to be utilised at the prize providers choice of either Europcar or Avis in the French airport upon arrival,
4. daily breakfast at the hotel,
5. one (1) wine tasting dinner for 2 people at the hotel upon arrival,
6. one (1) wine tour of Provence with visit to lavender fields and lunch for two (2) people with pick up and drop off from the hotel included,
7. one (1) cooking class at your hotel for two (2) people,
8. one (1) spa day at your hotel
9. one (1) three (3) course dinner on one (1) night for two (2) people with one (1) glass of wine per course,
10. one (1) truffle hunting tour (approx. half day) in Provence for two (2) people.
11. One (1) thousand pounds spending money.

2) All Wine Tours and experiences will be hosted at the hotel or will be run by a tour guide and driver. The Car Hire service is to be used for transportation purposes from the French Airport to the French Hotel and from the French Hotel to the French Airport or for the purpose of other sightseeing and touristic activities at the prize winner’s own leisure. If both the prize winner and their companion are unable to drive, then the car hire voucher will be forfeit and transfers to and from the French Hotel and French airport will be the responsibility of the prize winner and taken at their own cost.
3) The car hire voucher is available for use where the prize winner or the prize winner’s companion are in possession of a full, clean licence held for at least 3 years. There is no cash alternative for unused portions of the voucher. Holders of non-EU licences must also produce an international permit valid for at least one year. The lead driver must be in a possession of a valid credit card (not a debit card) and it is likely a hold will be required on this card for security deposit to collect the car, which is refundable upon safe return of the car and provided the car is returned to the drop off point with the fuel gauge at the same level as when the car was collected. The exact amount is dependent on both the car hire company and the car that is hired and will be stipulated on collection at the French airport. Mileage allowance, local taxes and fees are the responsibility of the prize winner and will be decided at the time of rental. Fuel is not included.
4) All participants must be 18 or over and be residents of the UK.
5) Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5.
6) Booking is subject to availability. Prize cannot be taken between 30th March 2018 and 2nd April 2018 and 23rd December 2018 and 2nd January 2019. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5 and Winerist.
7) Prize valid for one (1) year from postal close date of March 29th 2018.
8) A cheque or bank transfer for the £1000 spending money included in the prize will be issued by Winerist in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
9) The prize winner must book their trip within 30 working days of the date of their congratulations letter from Winerist and at least 8 weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.
10) Neither Channel 5 nor Winerist will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
11) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
12) Passports and Visas are the responsibility and at the cost of the prize winner. Channel 5 or Winerist cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation.
13) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
14) Transport to and from the London airport is the responsibility of the prize winner.
