Mr Savory was prosecuted under section 55 of the DPA, fined £335.00, and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £364.08 and a victim surcharge of £33.00. He also got a criminal record.
The only question is why DVLA doesn't report PPCs and their directors for similar offences on an industrial scale. Could it be related to money?

Pales into insignificance compared to the stuff that MIL and CPMS have been up to.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
