Total PPI Claim Newbie - Help with old claims!

Hi all,

I’m looking for some advice please on how to go about claiming PPI on the below - my problem is that I have literally no details (other than my name and address when I had them of course) - no account numbers etc.

I’ve also read that sometimes it’s not possible to claim prior to 2005 (is that right?)

Credit Cards - I don’t have dates for these cards but they were all between late 2003 to 2006

- Mint
- Egg
- Virgin

Car Finance - Again between 2003 to 2006
- Black Horse

I’ve tried checking bank statements but the furthest back I can go is 2010 :( so I don’t know how to get the info required for claiming via the Resolver tool.

If I use the template for ‘closed accounts’ from here can I just leave out the account number and provide them with my name/address details at the time of the account?

Hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction please?

I have directly messaged all my creditors from over the years this week, totally convinced that I held no ppi. I've found four so far. Most companies have a link on their webpages to point you in the right direction
  • Hello.

I am in the same situation as you, I have a list of loan companies but no account numbers. I am keen to know if your question has been answered.

    Thanks
