RingGo Parking fine

Hello, we received a parking charge notice for our car in the local station car park. My fiancee has the RinGo app, its the only way to pay for the parking space. She has downloaded the App, and used it once before with no problems. However, the 2nd time she used it, she went thru the process of paying and paid for her stay. However, it turns out that a error on the App, or somehow, we do not know how it got there, a completely different VRN appears on her App, along with the VRN of our car. The "other" VRN was not on the App, the first time she used it, only our VRN. So the second time she uses it, she goes thru the process, and pays, but presses "unknowingly" the "other" VRN. The "other" VRN is for a car we dont own, never owned, and never seen before.
We went thru the appeals process and UKPC rejected our claim......here>>>>
Dear Miss ?????,
Thank you for your recent correspondence in relation to the above Parking Charge.
We have investigated your appeal based on the information you have submitted and confirm that this Parking
Charge was correctly issued because there are sufficient signs at ???? Car Park warning drivers that should they
park their vehicle without displaying a valid Pay & Display ticket this will result in a Parking Charge being issued to
the vehicle.
Our Appeals process is now concluded, you may now pick one of the following options:
1. Pay the parking charge detailed above at the reduced rate of £60 to UK Parking Control Ltd.
PLEASE REFER OVERLEAF FOR PAYMENT OPTIONS AND ADDRESS DETAILS.

However, their reasoning as to why they have failed with our appeal, states "there are sufficient signs at ???? Car Park warning drivers that should they
park their vehicle without displaying a valid Pay & Display ticket this will result in a Parking Charge being issued to
the vehicle." However, its all on RingGo, and NO tickets are printed!!

We are going to appeal via POPLA, has anyone else had problems with a rogue VRN being on their App? My Fiancee paid for a car in her space, but it was not our car, someone else's. We have proof of her paying etc.

Thoughts.
Thanks for viewing.

its a UKPC parking charge , not ringo

its not a "fine" either , its an INVOICE

and yes there are dozens of similar threads about railway station parking issues , including RINGO ones

as bylaws apply, you need to search out a recent station/railway thread with a suitable popla appeal, and read post #3 of the NEWBIES sticky thread

did you give away who was driving ? or who the owner is ?

any such appeals should always be made by the keeper, as keeper , otherwise its harder to win at appeal

any RINGO app issues should be taken up by the owner of the app with RINGO

Has she admitted who was driving? Not good, oh dear, best appeal point down the drain, if so.

The above situation is one that will need the appellant to prove at POPLA stage by embedding screenshots of the App fault and confirming that this second car is nothing to do with you.

And on top of that, include all the usual template POPLA appeal points from post #3 of the NEWBIES thread and embed pics of UKPC's signs from their own website pictures, because they are always pale/blurred pics where the £100 is illegible - great to use their own pics against them, every tie with UKPC.

Show us your draft first, and NOT just written about the App. Include the usual template points and embed the pictures and the App screenshot into the bit you will have to write yourself at the start.

Why the question marks? You'll have read 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' before you posted, and will be well aware that was a mistake. Already said how to appeal, what to say, seeing as you binned the best point.
