Multiple Savers - credit history

I have a small legacy that I'm squirrelling away in little pockets. Does opening multiple small savings pots (NS&I 3yr bond; new Nationwide regular saver etc) over a short period of time have any negative effect on your credit history? I assume all these little pots carry out ID checks?

Opening savings accounts with no credit facilities doesn't involve credit checks - they may use CRAs for ID checks but these won't impact (or even show) on credit history.
