B&Q oap discount? over 60 or 65?
Hi
Can anyone tell me if you have to be 60 or 65 and over to get the 10% pensioner discount? And on what day of the week, and how do you get the card? And can it be used at all B&Q stores ie warehouses, supercentres etc?
Thanks

my dad is a OAP it's on a wed morning only and you have to be 60+. I think all you have to do is go in and ask for a card. Dont think they can be used anywhere apart from the actual stores though as heard that someone got turned down in a warehouse.
Hope that helps x

Over 60 seems to be the age and just ask for the card. Not sure now about B&Q, but Focus accept it every day. My DH is 60 and has one - and when we buy stuff, I always pay with my C/C even though I'm not old enough to qualify officially, but they never query or disallow me.....

Good to see this thread. Is the 60+ discount card good for non stock items?

Does anybody know how long it takes to get one? Will they hand one straight over? What proof do you need of your age? Thanks!
