Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and a guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a twin or double room at The Painswick, a restaurant with rooms in the Cotswolds that has just been crowned The Sunday Times Hotel of the Year.
This relaxed country-cool retreat in a Palladian house near Cheltenham has 16 bedrooms, and mixes parquet floors and giant sofas with woodburning stoves and groovy lights. Places to eat include the deli-cafe and the bright, airy restaurant, where the head chef, Michael Bedford, serves treats such as parmesan custard with xeres, and lobster and black pudding pie.
One dinner for two, excluding drinks, is included in the prize, which must be taken by April 30, 2017, subject to availability and excluding public holidays, Valentine’s Day and March 14-17.
