Reservation deposit refused to be refunded!

That sounds like a very stressful time for you. Sorry you didn't have luck getting the house. Do you have any written evidence stating they would refund the reservation fee to you?:jFinally going to be a homeowner:T0 -
What do the written terms for the reservation fee or the receipt you got say about refunding??
(No offence but...) never believe 100% the salesman: Get it in writing.0 -
We have no written evidence of anything at all... Just a hand written piece of paper saying "reservation deposit £1,000" the size of a debit card and that's literally it! We haven't signed any documents etc.0

Oh for sure!! I feel like they seen my age etc/ and have just taken advantage of my naivety! I am expecting not to get my money back but, just want to make sure I do everything I can, correctly, from now on.0

Maybe alongside get advice from a solicitor if you have proof on a bank statement that you have given that money to them.:jFinally going to be a homeowner:T0
