Re-use your old 2015 Calendar

Don't throw your 2015 calendar away at the end of the year!

The year 2026 is exactly the same as 2015, so keep your 2015 calendar in a drawer for ten years and you'll be quids in!

I'd like to claim credit for this money saving tip but credit where it's due, I nicked the idea (sorry, re-used it) from the 2016 year planner thread.

Official MoneySavingExpert insert: If you've other calendars or diaries knocking around, there's even a site that helps find when matching years will come around again. Thanks to IndigoGirl for sharing.

Thanks for the tip Pinkle but i've got enough rubbish in draws. I think i'll pass on this one.

I've just finished years of de-cluttering, so I don't want to start keeping stuff again.

My 2015 calendar will go into recycling on 1st January 2016

Only thing is I'd have to sit for a couple of hours with an eraser rubbing out all my 2015 appointments and dog-sitting bookings.:D

I get a free one from the dog-sitting service, so I think I'll wait for that to arrive.;)

:) I've already re-purposed the first 9 months of the year as wrapping paper and the last 3 months will go the same way. I spent 50p on that scenic calendar and intend to get my money's worth.........:p

I have a lovely one with william morris designs. I have used the pics on each month AND the little ones on the back (put there so you can see what the months' pics are when still wrapped in cello) to make pretty greetings cards for family and friends.

PS - i have a lovely diary from 2014 that was surplus to requirements and is unused. I was wondering when the days / dates would co-incide again!! Shush, don't tell iqueen, we are de-cluttering together on Kon Marie thread!:D

Ha ha I've still got a lot to learn from other MSE'ers! After copying repeating dates down onto the new calendar, I flip mine over and use the back as a scribble pad near my pc. How boring! ;)
Oh! Just remembered, after use it will be shredded and added to the compost bin so maybe I've redeemed myself?
The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

It seems that you will only have 9 years to wait, 2025 has the same calendar as 2014. I often get given diaries that don't get used. If anything they are probably even better things to save than calendars.
