travel insurance

hi just watch RIP OFF BRITAIN there was an article on about holiday insurance a couple took out insurance for a weeks holiday a few weeks before they where due too go the son sadly died when there tried too claim off the insurance they where told they where not covered, as they had done the policy on line and when doing so it asked you too put the date of travel and was told as there son had died before the date off the holiday there was no claim.:(
