Old AP markers - effect now

Hi everyone - hope someone can advise on this one. I have had AP's with MBNA and Next Directory - the MBNA debts were passed to Idem Securities a couple of years ago and they have agreed (and have updated my CRA files with a sea of green and Equifax and Experian show them as Up to Date/Satisfactory). However, until December 2011 the AP markers still show on my Equifax file. Same thing as Next - AP's until about a year ago I came off the arrangement - since then have been marked green.

So the question is, will the old AP ,markers, despite the history of green since, still impact a lenders decision now such that I need to challenge both MBNA and Next about their use of AP's as opposed to defaults?

They will have a negative impact yes but now that they're over a year old the impact will be quite small.

    I wouldn't worry about it :o
