Afternoon Everyone,
When I was a wee lad, I had a Post Office ccount. It came with a nice little pass book and the interest was Tax free.
I would like to open something similar for my young children, aged 8 and 12. It won't be for regular saving, just a few pounds now and then.
The Post Office don't appear to do anything like this now.
Any suggestions?

P.S I would like them to be able to go in and do their transactions face to face rather than solely online.

If the passbook isn't a necessity, Halifax, Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland all pay 3% on their easy access child accounts.
If a passbook is required, take a look at local building societies - but expect a lower interest rate.0
