Benefits - Will they stop if i'll start working?

Hello. I'm writing here to ask you a few questions.
I've received an opportunity to work in one of the offices as a translator of the foreign language. I just graduated ASes in the college. My mom still receives the Child Benefit and Working Tax Credit for me and my brother. The question I have, is - will those benefits be stopped if I'll start working full time? If not, how much would they be reduced, if I'm still in my education?

Thank you.
Hubert.

If you start work and leave college your mother will lose Child Tax Credits and Child Benefit. If she receives housing benefit she may also have to pay more towards the rent.

Would it not be better to remain at college and continue to improve your English skills? Most translator roles would be looking for a more fluent level of English. Apologies if you are translating between two other languages!

You would need to be in education full time at an applicable level of education...if you were doing HND/degree level, your mothers child related benefits would stop and you would claim student finance/loans

She would lose £13 is child benefit and would receive tax credits based on having one qualifying child instead of 2
    eg http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/people-advise-others/entitlement-tables/work-and-child/work-no-childcosts.htm

Also if your mother claims housing benefit, you would become a non-dependant and her housing benefit would be reduced by an amount that is based on your earnings

As long as you're in full time, non advanced education and under 20, child related benefits are still available to your mother.

If you weren't in full time education she would no longer get child tax credits or child benefit for you, but she might still be entitled to working tax credit.

And if you are working, you would be able to make a contribution to the household costs.
