    Thanks for heads up.

Just Sky+'d it. Pity it's not also covering PPCs. Hopefully a starter for more ;)

    Just watched the programme.

Anne Robinson was as weak as water in her questioning of the national representative of councils about the appalling, illegal signage scandal - p1$$ poor. She clearly needs far better briefing, or perhaps just more bone in her back !!

If that's the best she/Watchdog can do, maybe best not to involve themselves in PPC world.

They already have and, in fairness, the items they produced were pretty good. Clearly you've missed them - and there are several of them. Try this one (courtesy of YouTube):

The best thing to do with a private parking notice
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

No, I have seen them, and it was the contrast I was alluding to in my description of tonight's watery output!

In reference to any future PPC-related expos!, particularly as a follow-on to the council angle, a similar weak, bordering on obsequious display will hardly help any cause we are espousing here.

Seriously underwhelmed, especially given the build up by trailers over the past few days. Maybe I'm too much into this stuff, or just maybe I'm expecting too much ;)

If I ever got into power, I would make it that any money raised from parking tickets will be put into a big central pot the council can't touch, a bit like what happened with speeding tickets a few years ago.

Any upheld appeal will result in the council having to pay the person whom they ticketed at least £50 depending what stage the appeal is allowed.

And watch as the number of tickets suddenly falls as the councils are not getting the income.

I would also bring in a similar system for private parking, make it so those scammers have to pay into a big governmental pot and claim any costs back, with any claims being looked at by an evil penny pincher whom won't give a penny more than needed.

It was just the same 'wrong signage/lines' stories re-hashed.

    Basically 'churnalism' at it's weakest.
