Iva & ppi
Hi all, I need some advice again. A company are dealing with my PPI claims as advised by Debtfree Direct. I got a letter yesterday from the company asking me to write to the financial ombudsman (they had filled in the forms, all I had to do was sign it and send it back to them).
They say - that one of my creditors has admitted I am entitled to a refund of PPI and they do not believe that the lender is dealing with the set off proposal correctly and they do not think that the lender has calculated the amount to be set off. They say that the lender proposes to set off some or all of the PPI compensation against the debt owed to the lender and they will reduce their claim against me in the IVA. My complaint won't be about the PPI but about the way in which they are proposing to compensate me for the mis-selling
I could really do with some advice please, I would prefer that my debt was reduced from the creditor, if it goes through the PPI company they will get a 30% cut. I have no idea how much I am owed, they have omitted to tell me this! :mad:

I didnt want to just read and run - someone should be along in a minute who can help with this.
But, in the meantime, you could check on https://www.iva.co.uk to see if someone there might have had the same or similar issue?I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
