Has anybody here sold a domain name on ebay ?

I have a domain name which I no longer need and was wondering whether it would sell OK on eBay.
I know there are other sites for this sort of thing, but I would guess there would be more viewers on eBay. Of course, I could be wrong with that assumption.
thank you any advice provided.

Can't see it being worth much since there are quite a few other TLDs for shopsinlondon still available.
Would somebody want to be associted with a domain using the Colombian TLD? Especially since .EU is still available and more pertinent. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I also have many other similar ones, but with the .co.uk and .com versions
examples ...
shopsinnewcastle.com and shopsinnewcastle.co.uk
shopsinbirmingham.com and shopsinbirmingham.co.uk
Plus several other cities, most with both options. At the time of my idea I couldn't get the London one, which is why I opted for the .co version.0 -
Looks like your business plan has flaws. 2 domains not available because your hosting account is suspended. and no content on another 2.
On that basis the domain has absolutely no value apart from possibly the renewal fee. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
so cannot be sold on eBay anyway?I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0

Looks like you can. I have one I'm looking to sell too so that was useful to find out.

Shopsinlondon seems a bit awkward to me.0

He is selling the domain not the website. As long as his registration is still current the state of his website hosting is totally irrelevant.Looks like your business plan has flaws. 2 domains not available because your hosting account is suspended. and no content on another 2.

I wouldn't bother with ebay though, when there are specialist companies that just re-sell domain names though, like sedo who can also help value them.0
