Buyer changed address to another country!!

Sold an item to USA, it went unpaid and I had to open a case, just before the case closed the item was paid for - however the posting/invoice address is now Russia?!!

Have no idea how buyer has managed to do this? There has been no communication whatsoever, and I was not asked to submit another invoice for the change of country! Fortunately the postage will be the same but am a bit uneasy now about posting it there!

Anyone heard of this before or know how this has been allowed by ebay?

Is the address in Russia the one you get from Ebay/Paypal or has the buyer just sent you a new address?

The ebay address just changed on ebay, they are a registered US buyer but now have a Russian address - I spoke to someone at ebay who was really unhelpful saying buyers have the right to change their address when they pay for item - I queried this as changing country would mean different postage rates and different customs policies! I was told I had the right to refuse to post and to refund the buyer!
So if I buy an item then when I pay I could just change my address to another country and expect the item to be posted there at no extra cost!!!

ebay have given you an option. so your final comment is incorrect - you could only change your address and increase the postage if the seller agreed to continue the sale.
You could contact the buyer after checking if the postage rate is different, and send a new invoice i assume?
