    Thank you - cheap bacon.

Hubby says the brown sauce is good and a bargain.
I don't mine the ketchup and will stock up next time that's half-price.

If you are disabled and unable to get there at the crack of dawn, you will rarely find any of these great offers. They never have enough stock. If you get there mid-morning you have had it!

Julie, it applies to all, not just disabled customers. Those that work Saturday and/or Sunday morning may well miss the offers also?
It is generally fist come first served, though it has been known for some stores to replenish during the day - pot luck though!
Some of the "not so popular" offers (meat included) last longer than say chicken breasts which you do need to be there early. Queues at 8am for the great offers.
But non-meat offers are usually in abundance.

    Good luck.

    Bump.

Been early and the bacon was going very quickly and most taking the full allocation of 6 packs. Same with the sausages.
Some of the bacon was a bit "fatty", but it was just a case of finding the good ones.
Very busy at just after 8am!!
    Be lucky.

    Same at my local.

Dragged my other half out of bed to get our 12 packs of bacon. :rotfl: He likes to have bacon butties with 4 rashers of bacon in them.

Stocked up on the bacon and a few sausages. Got some tomatoes and aubergines (50p at ASDA too).

Luckily, there were 6 packs of bacon labelled with 30% off (69p each) with an expiry date of 30/4. Straight into the trolley they went. :rotfl:

But as you said Lynsey, half the bacon had gone by 8.30am and there were 15 boxes packed into the shelves.

Heron is another good place for cheaper bacon, called mis-shapes.
I half freeze then cut into rashers. Pot luck tho as to amount of fat.

What's the weight and price of the bacon, if you don't mind me asking? :)
