Best place to donate childrens clothes too?

I have all my kids old clothes, not sure best place to donate.
Dont want to just chuck them!

    womens refuges are good to donate to, they also take sanitary products and toiletries etc.

    Freecycle?

    Our health visitor has a store room for young families.

    Mothers in our playground offer each other clothes, especially school uniforms.

    Maybe you can set up a clothes and toy swap event?
    I never realized how much personal info is out there that can be used and abused to suit every purpose.

    I have started donating all the clothes and kitchen items to the homeless charities, most of these people have had to be rehoused because of family disputes, or they have been living on the streets, or have had floods, and they have nothing. I don't donate to the charity shops any longer, it annoys me that they charge more per item than a brand new item does . They will also pick up furniture, or fridges, cookers etc. etc..
