It depends when it was built and if you mean petrol or diesel and which version - SE or Sport?

Be aware that that until the facelifted version of 2010 the old model B class had LHD wipers, even on RHD cars, this resulted in a very wide unswept area on the drivers side.

My current B class has been the most relaible car I have owned.

First thing I would think is different engine sizes.

First thing I would think is learning how to spell the name of the car I was going to buy.

Now now, don't be b1tchy. We're not supposed to criticise spelling or grammatical mistakes. :)

We're not supposed to drive at more than 70MPH on the motorway but an awful lot of people do (although I'm sure nobody who posts on MSE would ever consider doing such a thing :D)

Except you would be wrong. The number can signify a change in model or different output from the same engine.

    B150 and B160 both use a 1.5
    B170 and B180 both use a 1.7

The model number changed when the model was facelifted in about 2010.

    C180 is a 1.8.
    C180k is a 1.8
    C250 is also a 1.8

    Confused? So was I!

They aren't really all that different, apart from fuel, engine size and trim, they will all depreciate like a stone. Mercs facelifted attempt at an Espace.
