Hi I hope I've put this in the right place. I am new to this part of the board so apologies if in the wrong place.
I'm fairly new to eBay, I had an item in an auction which ended Saturday late afternoon/ early evening and so far the bider has not paid. I sent an invoice via eBay yesterday but still nothing My question is how long do I wait and what are my options please ? Any advice grateful received

I would wait untill friday (send a invoice tommrow or thursday) If no response then NPB them. They may be away or having internet troubles.0

You can file a NPB case tomorrow from the time the original auction ended. So, if it ended at 16.13 on Saturday you can open a case from 16.13 tomorrow.
Personally, I always open a case on day 4. That is ample time for a buyer to make payment and for you to have to wait.
Close the case on day 8 if they haven't paid and make sure you add them to your blocked bidder. If they do pay post as normal.0 -
I do what TAG does - I always open to unpaid case as soon as I can.
If a customer hasn't paid within 2 days I send an invoice, and if that doesn't prompt the payment, I open the unpaid case on day 4.

Again, as above - do as TAG suggests.
It's rare not to have any payment or communication after 3 days, if the buyer is serious about buying.
If there were any other bidders and the item was rare/unusual, you could advise them that the winner MAY be a non-payer and enquire whether they would still be interested in the item (via second chance offer), IF the auction winner fails to pay"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
