Any grants available for replacement windows?

Hi my parents are on DLA and need a new window in their bedroom. Are there any grants available that would help them with the cost?

Hi ask at your local council or look on their website they used to be able to help but it wasn't DLA which triggered it I think it was age related or on IS.

Do a google search on home improvement grant and also disabled facilities grant and you should find what you looking for ....

note that often this is means tested and DLA isn't usually a qualifying benefit. worth checking with local council, and also most areas have a 'home improvement agency' which may be able to assist.

tbh a single window from a local company shouldnt cost that much
