Coffee is a great deal. I will pass on the ham though as plenty in freezer.

    Cheers.

I have never tried the ham, I may give it a try.

The coffee may be ok for the iced coffee below, I may give that a try too at that price.

Is the Melangerie better than the Gold Arabica filter coffee?
Gold is quite harsh until a taste is acquired and not a personal favourite.

A Gold winner at 2011 Food & Drink Awards if that means anything.
I'd assume its the same stuff in the coffee bags.
  • Does the coffee come in beans or ground? Anyone know if it's any good??

    It is ground coffee.
  • We love Lidl's Black Forest ham so will be stocking up.

I've never tried freezing it before though - it never occured to me to do so, which is stupid really considering I buy gammon joints which I then cook and slice up and freeze in batches. Those of you who freeze this ham - do you just freeze it in the packet it comes in, or do you put it in plastic freezer friendly tubs?

This is gonna sound like a STUPID question I know, but the ham, its like Parma Ham right? With it being called black forest I wondered weather it had blood in (because it sounds like black pudding) :rotfl: I know im stupid, but I just want to make sure.

Yes its the same but i think the word Parma is protected now because it has to made in that region like many other things but strangely not Yorkshire puddings :D
