Icelands are doing a huge 1 kilo jar for a quid .The fridge sort IYKWIM.I got one to put away for when we go on our summer holidays as my 4 DGS like them and a jar for a quid will easily feed them beans on toast for lunch. But I have bought them before and once opened froze portions of them in plastic boxes in the freezer.Good value as I only really like Heinz ones anyway

This offer undercuts the ASDA SmartPrice ones (which I reckon are OK, IMHO) by 4p a tin.

Of course, this assumes that they actually have any. ASDA's stock control is abysmal at best and - suspiciously - gets even worse for items on special offer.

PS. A splash of good old Worcestershire sauce perks up baked beans.

I'm in agreement with Stephen L on this one. I'll stock up if they have any! Last time my local store was doing this offer the shelves were bare for days - as is the case with most of their offers. It makes me so cross.
