For Europe £2m is probably enough given you're looking at up to £2,000 a day in ICU within Europe, medical evacuation circa £10,000.
The most expensive medical travel claim I ever saw would still be under Cosmos' limit which was a person who had a stroke on a cruise ship and was on the boats ICU and then an American one at circa £15,000 a day plus drugs, investigations and finally repatriation of the body which came in at a little under £1.5m0 -
We used globelink.co.uk for our annual worldwide travel insurance. I would not find better value and service anywhere else. Definitely worth checking them out.0
