No, it's for your parents to support you. It doesn't make it yours.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

No, it's meant to help your parents provide a home for you to live in and food for you to eat. If your friends have parents who don't need this financial aid and can afford to give the money to their children, they are very lucky.
Have you ever worked out how much stuff costs? How much food do you eat every week? How much electricity do you use? And so on....0 -
But they dont need it thats the fact there just really tight parents and yes i do know for this fora fact thanks for answering anyway0

I'm sorry, but you come across as a very demanding child!! If you want extra money for college I suggest you go out and get a saturday job, and earn the money instead of demanding it from your parents... If you get pocket money, get fed everynight, have money given to you to go out, buy clothes, have a bed to sleep in or a roof over your head, then your parents are giving you this money one way or another...0

Anon- exactly how old are you? My son is 11 and i would get better behaviour from him! You are acting like the world (and you parents!) owe you a favour!0

Look for a part time job.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
They've likely been getting it for you since the day you were born. As said above, some parents can put it away for their children, others' cannot afford it, and even if they can, they don't have to.
If my kid 'demanded' it, they certainly wouldn't get it.....however, I will put a bit aside for any of my children who are appreciative, non demanding, and prepared to contribute to their own 'extra's or future by getting part time work.0 -

It's "they are" or "they're" not 'there.'
If you are 16 and have been at school for 11 years and still not grasped the basics..., are you really suited to college? Clearly you could do with earning some of your own money.
If the money was for you, the government would be paying it to you. The money was intended to ensure that you grew up suitably nourished, clothed and suited to take a place in society. To be able to contribute to the next generation, and assist the fomer generation.0
